Rain Forest Revenge Home Page

Well now that the bluster of the opening page is out of the way, let's get to the serious stuff!
This will be the fourth full season I have had the reins of the Revenge. When I took the franchise over at week 4, 3 seasons ago, I told the inhabitants of the Rain Forest, that the team was on a 5 year plan.
Though it seemed we were ahead of schedule, the last two seasons have ended with heart wrenching last second FG misses in the playoffs.

With the schedule the Forest faces this season, they will be lucky to even make it back into the playoffs!

The Forest added two Big Time Players this offseason, speedy DL Steve Smith from Mil & dependable WR Wally Henry from Hat. The big story remains the QB controversy between the aging, playoff disappointing, Graf and the green Simpkins...

The main focus of the Rain Forest offseason was to add some young players to an aging DL & DB. 1st rounder Jameson Charles is young and raw, but he has a future!

Though aging, the Revenge D is still it's strength and it's LB crew has developed into a real powerhouse, with 4 every down type athletes. The OL, RBs & WRs have also improved with age. The question marks are whether 2nd year man QB Simpkins is ready to take a team all the way. Low RB EN continues to be a concern as well.

Though Graf's pass protection improved, Graf's QB rating plummeted for the 2nd straight season. With more improvement at the WR and OL spots this season, there are no excuses left!

So far, I am having a great time in the GUFL, and plan to be a member for as long as the league will have me. A special thanks goes out to our Commish for his hard work on the league webpage & his awesome consistency with the league schedule.
